A day on the estate

Arrive, unpack, and stop looking at the time

8 am

Coffee on the terrace

Each house has its own private terrace, far from any road. From Le Cocon you look out on the rose garden; from Le Logis, on the bamboo grove, the red hut and the pond.

10 am

A walk round the park

More than 1,000 rose bushes bloom from mid-June to September. Children run off to the hedge maze, adults stroll round the pond, then everyone gets a little lost in the 2 hectares of woodland.

2 pm

Out and about in Anjou

Lac de Malagué for a walk by the water, Baugé and its old apothecary, Angers castle 25 minutes away, Saumur 40. Or the Loire à Vélo cycle route, for the energetic.

7 pm

Dinner outdoors

In summer, dinner on the terrace lasts until dark. At Le Logis, the old bread oven still works.

10 pm

By the wood stove

Both houses have a wood stove, with as many logs as you like. Then comes the silence, which our guests mention more than anything else.

We live on the estate

We are Thomas and Annabelle, a family with children. These houses were home to several generations of families who lived and worked here. We restored them, keeping the terracotta tiles, the beams and the bread oven, and adding today's comforts.

We are here if you need us, and discreet the rest of the time. Book direct: you deal with us, with no platform fees, and we send you a rental agreement before any payment.
