Planning your stay
Answers to the questions we are asked most often. Detailed instructions, the key-box code and directions are sent after booking.
Booking and payment
- RequestSend your request from the website. Nothing is paid at this stage.
- AgreementWithin 24 hours we send you a rental agreement in our name, with the full price and our bank details in the name of account holder.
- DepositYou pay a 30% deposit by bank transfer. Your booking is confirmed when we receive it.
- BalanceThe balance is paid by bank transfer 15 days before arrival, or on site. Cash is accepted within the legal limit, with a receipt.
We never ask for payment before sending you an agreement in our name, from your email. Our bank account is always in the same name. If in doubt, call us on your phone before paying.
Cancellation and security deposit
Cancellation: terms to be defined, e.g. deposit refunded up to 30 days before arrival. Security deposit: amount and terms to be defined. The full terms are in the rental agreement and on the legal page.
Frequently asked questions
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3 pm, check-out before 11 am. If you need other times, just ask: we arrange it whenever the schedule allows.
How do we get the keys?
Self check-in with a secure key box. We send you the code and directions a few days before you arrive. We live on site if you need us.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking on site, a few steps from the houses.
Can we come without a car?
A car is strongly recommended: the nearest shops are 10 minutes away (Durtal, Jarzé-Villages, Seiches) and Angers railway station about 25 minutes.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, for an extra €… per stay, except category 1 and 2 dogs. Please declare your pet in your request. Pets stay under supervision and are never left alone in the house.
Are linen and cleaning included?
Bed linen: provided / optional. Towels: provided / optional. End-of-stay cleaning: included / €… fee.
How are the houses heated?
Both houses have electric radiators and a wood stove, with as many logs as you need. Each house has a sheet explaining how to light the stove.
Can we work remotely?
Yes: 500 Mb/s fibre and a workspace in each house.
Is it suitable for children?
Le Cocon has games and toys for little ones, Le Logis a baby cot. In the park, the pond is not supervised: children must be with an adult.
Can we smoke?
The houses are strictly non-smoking.
Are there cameras?
Security cameras are installed outdoors on the estate (areas covered to be specified). There are none inside the houses.
Is there a tourist tax?
Yes, it is added to the price and paid to the local authority: €… per adult per night. Under-18s are exempt.
